In the Department of Network Design, students learn the basics of information technology, which is the lifeline of all fields and industries, and through comprehensive exercises, acquire "practical technology" to support modern society. Practical learning is important when learning about security and communication software. Students will improve their skills through a variety of exercises, such as making programmable LEGO block robots autonomously, creating websites, and learning countermeasures against cyber attacks.

Has the Department of Network Design disappeared?
We have only stopped accepting new students, and education for current students is being provided according to the curriculum that was set at the time of enrollment. -
What should candidates who want to study security do?
Please take the exam in the Department of Information Systems, where we will be providing a full range of information security education. Image analysis technology for security and monitoring using surveillance camera footage is also being used in graduation research in other departments, including the Department of Real World Computing. -
Can Department of Network Design students use the DX field?
You can use it if you join a laboratory conducting related research or if you are involved in a student project related to drones or robots. -
When students in the Department of Network Design are assigned to a laboratory, which laboratory can they choose?
The faculty members from the Department of Network Design are still in the Faculty of Information Science and Technology, so you will basically be asked to choose one of their laboratories to apply to.
