Introduction

The methods for issuing certificates at our university are as follows:

  1. "Convenience store issuance service" online application
  2. Application at the university office or by mail
If you are using the online certificate application and issuance service for the first time, please see below for an overview and usage guide.

Overview of online certificate application and issuance service

1. "Convenience store issuing" service

This is a service that allows you to apply for certificate issuance online and have it issued (printed) on a copy machine at a convenience store. The issuance fee can be paid by "credit card," "cash payment at a convenience store," or "PayPay."
Various certificates can be issued using the multi-copy machines installed in convenience stores nationwide (Seven-Eleven, Family Mart, Lawson).

2. "Mail delivery" service

This is a service that allows you to apply for the issuance of a certificate online and receive it by mail. After paying the issuance fee and postage fee by credit card, cash at a convenience store, or PayPay,
The university will send the certificate to the address you specify.
Please use the "Receive by Mail" service even if you are applying from overseas.

Notes on use

For those who require a sealed envelope

Applications can be made at the university office or by regular mail, or through the "Online Certificate Application 'Receive by Mail' Service."
If you have a certificate issued at a convenience store, please bring it to the university office and we will seal it for you.

*Omiya Campus: Academic Affairs Department
Umeda Campus: Faculty of Robotics and Design Office
Hirakata Campus: Faculty of Information Science and Technology Office

Name on the certificate

The name that will appear on the certificate will be the name at the time of graduation (or at the time of leaving the school).
If you wish to have your certificate issued in your new name, you will need to submit a notification of change of information in your family register along with a copy of your family register extract to the office handling the change, either in person at the university or by mail.
* After completing the name change procedure, the new name will be shown on the certificate.

About external characters (Convenience store issuing service)

The "Convenience Store Issuance" service does not allow the use of non-standard characters. The characters will be replaced with the equivalent JIS Level 1 and Level 2 characters.
If the character shape is different or if it needs to be written in variant characters (limited to characters listed in the graduate register),
When applying online, please select "Receive by mail" as the receiving method. (We also accept applications in person or by mail.)

Preventing certificate forgery

Certificates issued by the university that can be issued at convenience stores or other locations other than the university's administrative offices are protected against counterfeiting using POPITA® technology from NTT West Japan Corporation.
*POPITA is a registered trademark of NTT WEST, Inc.

In addition, various certificates issued at the university office are issued on special university paper with a watermark to prevent forgery.
Both forms cannot be used for copying as an error message will be displayed if you try to copy them.

Second Password

To enhance security, this service requires you to set a second password in addition to your password. If you forget your password, you can reset it yourself.

For those who plan to submit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not accept convenience store-issued certificates (POPITA), so please apply either through the "Pick up by mail" service or at your university.
