The Student Counseling Office is a place where you can talk about any worries or problems you may encounter in your student life, regardless of the content. We would like to help you think through academic issues, club activities, friendships, psychological worries, and more, and help you to solve them independently. Please do not worry alone, but feel free to talk to us. Confidentiality will be kept.

About use
How to apply for a consultation
Consultations require reservations. Please apply for a consultation at your campus.

- The university's psychological counselors are qualified clinical psychologists.
- Each counseling session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
- Consultation is free of charge.
- You can also continue receiving counselling.
- You can also take a personality test.
- Your secrets will be kept.
What happens after you apply for a consultation?
- Please apply for a consultation at the application desk listed above.
- The reception staff will inform you of the date, time and location of your consultation with a counsellor.
(If adjustments are necessary, we will contact you as soon as the consultation date and time have been decided.) - On the day of your appointment, please come to the Student Counseling Office at your scheduled time.
- Omiya Campus
Enter through the entrance to the Health Room on the first floor of Building 2, and change into slippers at the entrance to the Student Counseling Room behind it.
When it is time for your appointment, please go to the designated consultation room. - Umeda Campus
Enter the Health Room on the 4th floor and tell your name and appointment time at the counter. - Hirakata Campus
Enter the Health Room on the first floor of Building 1 and tell your name and appointment time at the counter.

- A counselor will listen to your concerns in the consultation room.
- If you wish to continue counseling, you will set up a date and time for your next consultation with your counselor.

Relaxing room
The relaxation room is spaciously furnished with tables and sofas, creating a quiet environment.
Please use this as a "mental rest room" when you want to relax alone or calm your mind.

Personality Test
A psychological counselor will help you get to know yourself through a personality test. If you don't have any particular worries or concerns, but would like to know more about your personality or way of life, please feel free to use this service.
Various leaflets
We have created leaflets that are useful for student life. They are available in the Student Counseling Office, Health Office, Student Affairs Division, the Faculty of Robotics & Design Faculty of Engineering office, and the Faculty of Information Science and Technology office on each campus.
