Various support systems

To enable students to participate in international exchange programs with peace of mind, our university offers a variety of support measures, such as subsidies for study abroad examination fees and overseas study insurance.

In addition, for 1.(2)③ above, the participant himself/herself must submit a study abroad application form (plan) in advance to confirm whether support is available.

Crisis management system during study abroad

Gakkensai Supplemental Overseas Study Insurance "Supplemental Kaigaku"

Students traveling abroad on an international exchange program are required to enroll in overseas travel insurance designated by our university.
Our university uses the Gakkensai Supplementary Overseas Study Insurance (abbreviated as Supplementary Kaigaku), a system for students studying abroad provided by the Student Education and Research Accident Insurance (Gakkensai).
Students enrolled in Gakken-sai (a student accident insurance program) can purchase overseas travel insurance at a discounted price of approximately 37.1%.

Please see below for details of compensation and fees.
The procedure for joining will be explained in the guidance for each program.

Total support service for international students

Students who participate in unaccompanied overseas exchange programs at our university are eligible to use the Total Support Service for International Students (TSS).
TSS offers a telephone service in Japanese that allows you to receive advice in the event of illness, injury, theft, and other problems while traveling abroad, as well as health-related advice.
The costs associated with using TSS will be borne by the University.

The procedures for joining and how to use the service will be explained in the guidance for each program.

Crisis management during international exchange programs

During the implementation of our international exchange programs, a crisis management system is in place, centered around the International Center.
In the event of any trouble, we will work closely with relevant parties such as the host institution, supervising teacher, insurance company, travel agency, local embassy, etc. to aim for a swift resolution to the problem.
