Study Abroad Destination San Jose Recoletos University (Philippines)
I studied abroad at University of San Jose Retreats in Cebu, Philippines (USJ-R) from March 2024 to February 2025.
At USJ-R, I mainly took English language classes and attended English classes with local students. In addition to English language study, there were many events and religious events, and I was able to get deeply involved in the Philippine lifestyle and culture, which was a valuable experience. Many of the local students came from far away to study, and I felt that they were taking their studies more seriously than Japanese students. Therefore, when I showed my sincere efforts to study English, the people around me offered me a hand, so I hope that anyone who is seriously considering studying abroad will do their best.

    Intellectual Property Studies 2nd Year

Study Abroad Destination Daejeon University (Korea)
In the first semester, I learned the basics of Korean at Daejeon University's Korean Language Education Center, and since I reached an intermediate level, in the second semester I took classes with Korean students. The Korean Language Education Center is located on campus, and all classes were conducted in Korean. Although I always prepared and reviewed before taking classes, I found it difficult, but before returning home I reached a level where I could live alone in Korea, which gave me the confidence to take on new challenges in the future.

Department of System Design 2nd year

Study Abroad Destination Daejeon University (Korea)
I decided to participate in this long-term exchange program after participating in the Daejeon University cultural experience program (about 3 weeks) in the summer. Living in Korea for a long period of time after learning about the university's atmosphere and environment in advance allowed me to live my long-term study abroad life with peace of mind. I was able to feel close to languages other than Korean through events such as sports tournaments, as well as being a member of the "talking club" and teaching Japanese to students in the Japanese language department once a week. There was a dormitory (one room for three people) and a convenience store on the university campus, so life was very convenient.

Department of Design and Architecture, 2nd year

Study Abroad Destination National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan)
At Taipei University of Science and Technology, I studied patents and the Unfair Competition Prevention Act. I also took MBA classes, challenging myself with high-level classes that required discussions in English. There were many native English-speaking students, and it was very stimulating to learn deeply about different cultures and political backgrounds. I took classes with international students from not only Taiwan but also all over the world, and was able to broaden my international perspective. In addition, I did an internship at a local patent office, and realized the importance of knowledge while gaining practical experience. Overseas, I was able to expand my network and learn various things by acting proactively and communicating actively. In the student dormitory, I lived with students from various countries, came into contact with different cultures and values, and gained valuable experiences that led to my personal growth.
